Project: Donor Pulse

Project Type: Advanced

Location: H14

Donor Pulse connects hospitals and donors in realtime. Our software will help connect hospitals and donors in smart way whilst managing donor machines(used to collect blood/plasma sample) i.e. hospital or collection center capacity and smartly schedule the donor appointments. We have also added urgency requirement for the Hospital which schedules urgent appointments under urgent cases like ER requirement. The system optimizes matching using blood type compatibility, distance, reliability score, and transport availability. Hospitals with blood banks can store excess supply. An admin dashboard oversees donors, hospitals, analytics, and audits.

Donor Pulse is an intelligent blood donation platform that bridges hospitals and donors through real‑time, urgency‑based coordination. Hospitals first register their donation machines (whole blood, apheresis, mobile units) and blood bank inventory. When a request is created, the system classifies it as Routine, Urgent, Critical, or SOS. For routine needs, donors receive a WhatsApp (or SMS) link to a Calendly‑style booking page where they choose an available time slot based on machine capacity and their own availability. For urgent and SOS requests, the matching engine broadcasts alerts in parallel to all eligible donors within a progressively expanding radius (5 km -> 15 km -> 50 km -> city‑wide). The first responders to accept are immediately directed to the hospital with live Google Maps tracking that accounts for traffic, weather, and real‑time ETA updates. Walk‑in donors are queued intelligently: if a machine is free they are scheduled instantly; otherwise they join a waitlist and receive a WhatsApp notification when a slot opens. Hospitals with a blood bank can store surplus donations, and the system automatically updates inventory, triggers shortage alerts, and predicts future needs. An admin dashboard provides full oversight of donors, hospitals, requests, audit logs, and system analytics. By combining machine‑aware scheduling, parallel matching, and multimodal communication (WhatsApp primary, SMS fallback), DonorPulse ensures that no blood request goes unanswered and no donation capacity is wasted.

  • CSL is a leading global biotechnology company with a dynamic portfolio of lifesaving medicines, including those that treat hemophilia and immune deficiencies, vaccines to prevent influenza, and therapies in iron deficiency, dialysis and nephrology. Since our start in 1916, we have been driven by our promise to save lives using the latest technologies.
Today, CSL – including our three businesses, CSL Behring, CSL Seqirus and CSL Vifor – provides lifesaving products to patients in more than 100 countries and employs 32,000 people. Our unique combination of commercial strength, R&D focus and operational excellence enables us to identify, develop and deliver innovations so our patients can live life to the fullest.

Our plasma business plays a critical role in saving lives by collecting plasma at dedicated plasma donation centers. At these centers, eligible donors safely donate plasma through a regulated process, where plasma—the liquid portion of blood rich in essential proteins and antibodies—is collected and the remaining blood components are returned to the donor. This donated plasma is then used to manufacture life-saving therapies for people with rare, chronic, and serious medical conditions who depend on plasma-derived medicines

    The Problem
    Accessing healthcare isn’t always easy.
    People juggle:
    - Work and school schedules
    - Travel and commuting
    - Family responsibilities
    - Traffic and weather disruptions
    - Limited appointment availability
    - Long or unpredictable wait times

Even when care is available, it doesn’t always align with real life.
For example, in our Plasma business, plasma donors often struggle to fit donations into busy schedules. With multiple donor centers, varying crowd levels, traffic, and even weather, it’s hard to know the best time and place. Any

  • Design and execute an innovative, largely digital awareness campaign that helps CTOs and CIOs building and scaling trustworthy AI understand why and how to adopt Inhibitor.

This challenge is focused on strategy + execution quality, with measurable campaign artifacts that can be judged consistently across teams.

    Your team will:
    1. Define a target audience profile for CTO/CIO decision-makers in trustworthy AI programs
    2. Build an awareness campaign concept that is digital-first and innovation-forward
    3. Produce campaign deliverables and measurement plans that can be evaluated by judges

Optionally use AI agents to accelerate campaign research, content generation, testing, or personalization

  • Build either:
An innovative agent powered by Inhibitor, or
    A rigorous red-team gauntlet against an Inhibitor-enabled agent/system
This generalized challenge supports both offensive assurance testing and constructive product innovation. Teams can choose one track or complete both for a stronger submission.

    Track options

Track A Build with Inhibitor (Innovation Track)

Create an original agent use case that demonstrates how Inhibitor improves trust, safety, or controllability in real workflows.

    Examples:
    Trust-aware copilots for regulated domains
    Multi-agent orchestrators with policy-aware gating
    Real-time moderation or escalation assistants

Track B Red Team with Inhibitor (Gauntlet Track)

Run systematic adversarial testing against an Inhibitor-enabled agent/system and document exploitable patterns, failed attacks, and defense recommendations.

    Examples:
    Prompt injection and role-confusion suites
    Obfuscation/jailbreak variants
    Cross-turn memory poisoning attempts

  • Engineering projects often suffer from fragmented planning, reactive decision-making, and manual coordination overhead. This challenge invites participants to design and prototype an AI-powered system that acts as an intelligent coordinating layer across the full lifecycle of a technical program or project, automating intake, status synthesis, risk detection, and stakeholder communication.

  • How can Comcast Business, leveraging its Channel Partner ecosystem and services organization, introduce AI or AI adjacent offerings that measurably increase revenue growth over the next 24–36 months?

Your task is to identify and suggest a commercially viable AI driven solution (or portfolio of solutions) that:
    - Drives new recurring revenue
    - Increases average revenue per customer (ARPU)
    - Strengthens the value of the Comcast Business Channel
    - Differentiates Comcast Business from traditional connectivity only competitors

The solution does not need to involve building a large proprietary AI model from scratch. AI adjacent services (enablement, management, analytics, security, automation, compliance, or integration) are encouraged.
