PhiliAIson is a voice AI civic assistant that helps Philadelphia residents navigate 700+ city services, file 311 reports, find legal help, and fill out government forms in 10 languages. Call it, text it, or walk up to a kiosk and use it without a phone.
Right now in Philadelphia, getting help from the city means navigating dozens of websites, PDFs, and forms — often in impenetrable legalese. And access isn't equal: while about 84% of households have high-speed internet, that number drops to just 67% for older adults and Spanish-speaking residents, and 71% for low-income households. Thousands of people are effectively locked out of services that already exist. PhiliAIson lets residents just talk. Call it, text it, or walk up to a physical kiosk powered by a $50 Raspberry Pi and say something like: "My trash hasn't been picked up in two weeks." PhiliAIson understands the situation, connects to real Philadelphia 311 data, identifies the issue, and automatically files the request, all in one conversation. But we don't stop there. We use AI to analyze 311 patterns across the city to detect recurring issues, like neighborhoods with consistent missed pickups, so the city can act proactively, not reactively. What makes this truly different is accessibility. Our system works without broadband, without a smartphone, and in any language. So instead of telling residents what to do we actually does it for them. ex filling 311 forms. PhiliAIson closes the gap on partially digitized government services. It can walk users through filling out PDFs. This is AI as an interface to government. Accessible, actionable, and built for the future of Philadelphia.

CSL is a leading global biotechnology company with a dynamic portfolio of lifesaving medicines, including those that treat hemophilia and immune deficiencies, vaccines to prevent influenza, and therapies in iron deficiency, dialysis and nephrology. Since our start in 1916, we have been driven by our promise to save lives using the latest technologies.
Today, CSL – including our three businesses, CSL Behring, CSL Seqirus and CSL Vifor – provides lifesaving products to patients in more than 100 countries and employs 32,000 people. Our unique combination of commercial strength, R&D focus and operational excellence enables us to identify, develop and deliver innovations so our patients can live life to the fullest.
Our plasma business plays a critical role in saving lives by collecting plasma at dedicated plasma donation centers. At these centers, eligible donors safely donate plasma through a regulated process, where plasma—the liquid portion of blood rich in essential proteins and antibodies—is collected and the remaining blood components are returned to the donor. This donated plasma is then used to manufacture life-saving therapies for people with rare, chronic, and serious medical conditions who depend on plasma-derived medicines
The Problem
Accessing healthcare isn’t always easy.
People juggle:
- Work and school schedules
- Travel and commuting
- Family responsibilities
- Traffic and weather disruptions
- Limited appointment availability
- Long or unpredictable wait times
Even when care is available, it doesn’t always align with real life.
For example, in our Plasma business, plasma donors often struggle to fit donations into busy schedules. With multiple donor centers, varying crowd levels, traffic, and even weather, it’s hard to know the best time and place. Any

Mission
Build UI and analysis components that explain Inhibitor interventions using shared log datasets. If your approach uses AI agents for analysis or generation, you may use starter patterns from other challenge folders or your own agent implementation. -
"You can't fix what you can't see."
Philadelphia has connectivity gaps — and most of them go unreported until someone's already frustrated. Your mission: build an AI that predicts where connectivity complaints will spike before they happen. Using public FCC broadband data, open speed test datasets, and neighborhood demographic data, create a tool that gives internet providers and city planners a heads-up, not a catch-up.
What we're looking for:
- Predictive modeling using real public datasets
- A map or dashboard that makes the insight actionable
- Bonus points for surfacing equity patterns (who gets left behind and why)
Judge's gut check: Would a field ops team actually use this on Monday morning?

Engineering projects often suffer from fragmented planning, reactive decision-making, and manual coordination overhead. This challenge invites participants to design and prototype an AI-powered system that acts as an intelligent coordinating layer across the full lifecycle of a technical program or project, automating intake, status synthesis, risk detection, and stakeholder communication.

How can Comcast Business, leveraging its Channel Partner ecosystem and services organization, introduce AI or AI adjacent offerings that measurably increase revenue growth over the next 24–36 months?
Your task is to identify and suggest a commercially viable AI driven solution (or portfolio of solutions) that:
- Drives new recurring revenue
- Increases average revenue per customer (ARPU)
- Strengthens the value of the Comcast Business Channel
- Differentiates Comcast Business from traditional connectivity only competitors
The solution does not need to involve building a large proprietary AI model from scratch. AI adjacent services (enablement, management, analytics, security, automation, compliance, or integration) are encouraged.
