Skill Gap Analysis: Leveraging advanced NLP and LangChain with OpenAI GPT-4 for AI-powered resume parsing, SkillEdge Pro extracts and analyzes your skills with precision. The application implements a sophisticated SkillMatcher system that uses confidence scoring and evidence-based evaluation to compute an exact match percentage between your resume and the selected role's requirements, presenting the findings with visual progress bars and color-coded gap severity indicators. Dynamic Learning Paths: Once skill gaps are identified, our AI Learning Path Generator creates a personalized, actionable learning plan with dependency-aware skill ordering. The Timeline Estimator AI module calculates completion times based on skill complexity, learning pace preferences, and available study time. The platform offers a multi-resource approach, combining courses, certifications, and hands-on projects, prioritized by impact potential. AI Career Coach: The integrated AI coach provides contextual career guidance, interactive Q&A on career development, and personalized advice on interview preparation, salary expectations, and growth opportunities. The Resume Enhancer AI analyzes resume structure and content, offering tailored improvement suggestions with before/after examples customized to the user's skills and target role. Challenge Title: Use of AI to Predict Skill Shortages for Resumes Challenge Description: Utilize any AI Model to absorb candidate resumes based off of a job description and provide suggested skills or gaps in experience. Judging Criteria: Judging based on functionality and creativity. Winning team will be invited to visit the Comcast Innovation Center and meet with Rick Rioboli, Comcast Executive VP and CTO and his team. Winners will also receive a Comcast swag back and tour of the Innovation Center.
