GeneSight is an AI-powered genomic classifier platform being developed. This innovative solution analyzes genetic data in the form of gene expression profiles to predict disease risk, particularly for conditions like cancer with the precautions. The platform works by allowing users to upload genomic data files through an intuitive web interface. Once uploaded, the data passes through a preprocessing pipeline that normalizes and transforms the genetic information to prepare it for analysis.
Our tech stack leverages Python for data processing and machine learning, using Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation, scikit-learn for preprocessing and evaluation, and XGBoost for training our gradient boosting classifier. We deploy our model using FastAPI to build a scalable API, while the frontend is built with React for an interactive and responsive user interface, styled with modern CSS frameworks for a polished, futuristic design.
